Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my July wrap up! I know I pretty much JUST posted my June wrap up, so I hope you won’t be too worn out on wrap ups! This was another GREAT reading month for me, so let’s cover some stats first before I start talking about the books!
Read MoreHi everyone! I’m sharing another review today! Killers of a Certain Age is a new book from the author of the Veronica Speedwell series, and if you’ve seen any of my recent wrap ups, you’ll know that I’ve been absolutely loving that series and I’ve been binge reading it! When I saw the author was coming out with a new standalone about a group of retired assassins, I jumped on the chance to request an ARC!
Read MoreHi everyone! I was running through my recent blog posts to update my post tracker, and I realized that I completely forgot to do my June wrap up! So while this is coming much later than I usually would post it, I figured it’s not too late to still do a separate wrap up for June!
Read MoreHi everyone! Today I’m sharing my August TBR! I can’t believe we’re already in August, this year just seems to be flying by! I’ve actually had to change this TBR twice before I made the post because I finished books that I had listed on this TBR in the last few days of July! I’m reading more this year than I think I’ve ever read, and I’m enjoying it so much!
Read MoreHi everyone! Today I’m sharing my review for Wild is the Witch by Rachel Griffin, who was the author of The Nature of Witches that I read and adored last year! I’m really a fan of how this author combines magic with nature, and this book was no different!
Read MoreHi everyone! Today is the release day for A Strange and Stubborn Endurance by Foz Meadows, and what better way to celebrate than to share my review? I ended up REALLY enjoying this one, although it does have some scenes that can be very triggering to some, and were actually pretty tough to read.
Read MoreHi everyone! I’ve been really craving some horror reads after reading Tender is the Flesh earlier this year, I’ve already read quite a few this year and I have plenty of others that I want to read eventually! I’ve always enjoyed mystery/thrillers, and I’ve dabbled in horror before (I especially like horror movies, although I don’t watch them often). So this list will help me keep track of all the horror books I want to read! Some of these may not be full on horror but more in line with thrillers, but that’s okay.
If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment below!
Read MoreHi everyone! Today I’m sharing some August releases that I’m interested in! There are actually quite a lot of standalones this month, and my list consists of more thrillers and horror than any fantasy novel. I’ve definitely been leaning more into the thrillers and horror books lately, and I’m really enjoying it! Of course, that doesn’t mean that I won’t still be reading fantasy, it’s still my #1 genre for the year and will most likely stay that way.
What books are you interested in for August?
Read MoreHi everyone! I’ve got another review for you today, this time for The Valkryrie’s Daughter by Tiana Warner! This book comes out later this month, so if it sounds interesting to you I definitely recommend giving it a shot! If you think this book sounds familiar, that’s because it was meant to be released earlier this year with a different title and cover, but it was changed.
