Book Reviews and Recommendations

This tag was created by Anthony @ Keep Reading Forward for Blogoween! I was tagged by Devouring Books to do this tag and it looked like a lot of fun, so here we are!
Rules:
I think that The Wicked Deep is pretty magical! Plus it actually features witches, so its perfect for this prompt! This book has been popping up a lot lately because it is so fitting for the season, so I won’t bore you all with a description. But definitely check this book out for the fall season!
Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant (AKA Seanan Mcguire) is such a chilling, spooky read! What if mermaids were real? Would they be like we’ve imagined them, or would they be the deadly top predator? This book explores that and the result makes you really think what it would be like. By the end, you’ll be wondering if maybe its true, and its so much fun to read at night where anything seems possible.
I immediately thought of the reveal of who was who in The Kiss of Deception for this prompt! I don’t think I’ve ever actually yelled in shock when reading a book, but I definitely did with this one. It shocked me so much that I actually had to put the book down to recover!
This was a tough one because it seems like I completely forgot about every single evil character I’ve ever read about! But I finally decided to go with Sauron from Lord of the Rings.
Dobby. Fred. Lupin and Tonks. All of them never should have died, and there isn’t much more to say than that.
This was the first Brandon Sanderson book that I read, and it definitely made me hungry for more of his writing! I’m slowly (very slowly) working my way through his books and I just love them so much!
Most of the characters that I love could definitely protect themselves, since I mainly like fantasy characters who kick ass and take names, but the only one I can think of is Fitz from Assassin’s Apprentice! Maybe it’s because he starts off as a child in the books and we watch him grow up, but he has such a hard life and I would love to protect him from everything.
This book was so bad I couldn’t even finish it. I wrote a whole review about why I hated this book, so if you are interested in my thoughts rant review you can check it out here.
I wish that I had never tried reading this book, it was just so….bad. This is another one I have a review for, so check that out if you are interested in my thoughts!
While it’s not scary in the traditional sense, it definitely was scary to me. I have a degree in Conservation Biology (think Steve Irwin saving species and raising awareness), so reading a book where animals have evolved to hunt humans more efficiently was scary in the sense that it could happen in the future!
Man oh man do I have a bone to pick with Aelin. I just want to sit her down and ask her what she is doing and why she can’t just tell everyone her plans! They all care about her and want to help but she doesn’t let them in. I hope that changes in the last book.
I can’t quite say why I chose this book, but the minute I read the prompt I thought of this book. It’s one of my favorite series ever, and it’s been in my life for a really long time. I would love for this series to last so that others can experience the adventures of Jamie and Claire.
These covers creep me out so badly! The old style photos with supernatural elements is just so….*shudders*
I feel like I’ve done so many tags lately, so if you’ve read this far through this post, consider yourself tagged! I would love to see your answers!

You’re welcome, it was a lot of fun! I haven’t picked up The Kiss of Deception since I put it down because it was just so surprising! No one told me there was a huge twist like that!

I’m so glad no one spoiled it for me! I kept going back to see if I read things wrong! I was so blown away.
