T5W – Characters You Would Cosplay As
Today is another Top 5 Wednesday post! I’ll leave a link here to the Goodreads group if you are interested in joining. Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme where you are given a topic and give your top 5 answers! This week, the topic is characters you would cosplay as. Since I don’t cosplay, I’ll do this more as a Halloween costume type of post.
Lila Bard from A Darker Shade of Magic
I don’t often talk about Lila, but I loved how confident she was in who she is and what she wants in life. I would definitely do the mask and everything. There seems to be a trend in the characters I would dress up as, they are all badass women who can handle any issues…with swords.
Tauriel from The Hobbit
I know that Tauriel isn’t actually a character in the books, but I loved her character so much in the movies and I loved her story with Killi! Her costume would be easy enough to do, plus elves are just so cool and if I could ever be any type of magical creature, it would be an elf.
Eelyn from Sky in the Deep
Vikings mean awesome armor and awesome hairdos! So it doesn’t necessarily have to be her, she’s just the only Viking female character that I can think of.
Mia from Nevernight
I’m all about those assassin characters to begin with, so of course I would want to dress up like one! And Mia has some great outfits and it would be so much fun to dress up as her. I would need to find a cat though to be my shadow cat!
Aelin from Throne of Glass
And of course I would want to dress up like Aelin from Throne of Glass! I would probably go for the armor/assassin look more so than the princess/queen look, although both would be fun to do.

Love these ideas, especially Tauriel from The Hobbit. I’d probably dress like Willow Rosenberg from Buffy the Vampire Slayer or a female Malcolm Reynolds (Firefly) or Han Solo (Star Wars).
