This is the challenge that was created by Jessethereader over on YouTube, and I’ve had such a fun time seeing everyone’s videos on it that I wanted to join in! Only problem is, I don’t actually post videos anymore on my channel. It didn’t seem fair to me that only booktubers could participate, but then I thought to myself that there isn’t any rule saying that you have to have a youtube channel to do this challenge. So here we are. I asked for some coordinates on both my twitter and instagram, and I was able to get enough responses to do the challenge! Let’s find out what my new life is like!

The first name that I see on this page is Nora! Since this is a series of short stories I don’t know who Nora is, but I’m assuming she’s a badass considering the anthology is about dangerous women. I’ll take it!

I had to circle back around on this shelf because this one actually only holds 17, but I landed on The Eye of the World! The first object I saw was saddle, so I guess that means I make saddles…in Merit? Is there a need for saddles there? I mean, I guess they could have a mounted police force, but I have a feeling that I don’t make much money making saddles in Merit.

I’m happy that I didn’t see any spoilers for this book because it’s the third in the Mistborn series and I’ve only actually finished the first book. The coworker that I start to develop feelings for is Elend! Not bad, but definitely not my first choice of book boyfriends.

So there wasn’t any dialogue on page 137, so I went to the next section of dialogue I could find. Of course, the first line I see is literally “shut up”. Elend must’ve said something dumb because I don’t think I would’ve started my vows with that! Maybe he accidentally is revealing my identity as a mistborn in Merit at the wedding?
