December 2019 TBR

I’ve been really absent lately from blogging and social media because my life right now is a little bit on the busy side, but I still wanted to make sure that I got up my usual monthly posts! So today I’m sharing the books I’m hoping to read in December. It’s going to be a short list this month because of how crazy everything has been lately!

  • Malice by John Gwynne – I’m pretty sure that this has made multiple TBR lists, but this time I’m actually about 100 or so pages in so I feel like I’ll actually finish it this time! I’m finding that there are so many characters to keep track of, and I don’t usually have problems with that but for some reason I am with this book. Other than that, it’s been interesting so far!
  • Blood Heir by Amelie Wen Zhao – I’ve been really curious about this book after all the buzz (both good and bad) and I want to see for myself what it’s about! I’m expecting my copy to arrive any day now, so I’m excited!
  • Nevernight by Jay Kristoff – I’ve gotten a little over halfway through this in the past, but I ended up putting it down for something else at the time. With Piera Forde’s Nevernight web series coming out, I want to give this another shot because I know it’ll be something I’ll love if I can get through the whole thing!
  • Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo – I was on the fence about getting this book because I haven’t really liked any other book by Bardugo, but the reviews have been pretty good on this so I want to give it a shot.

What books do you plan on reading in December? Any last minute reads before the year ends? I’d love to chat!

  1. Excellent December TBR! I feel like all of these have such a dark winter fantasy vibe for this season. I hope you enjoy these and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
