LGBT+ Fantasy Book Recommendations
Happy pride month everyone! Even though I don’t identify as LGBTQ+, I felt it was still important to use my platform to share some amazing books that contain characters that fall somewhere along the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Usually the books I see recommended are contemporary, and while I don’t have anything against contemporary, fantasy is my go to genre so I wanted to share some recs in the fantasy genre! It’s surprisingly hard to find information about what characters identify as, because most of the time they are just listed as LGBT with no additional information
I haven’t read all the books on this list, and for the books that I haven’t read I may be missing some of the LGBT+ representation (or may have something listed incorrectly) so if you notice I have something listed incorrectly PLEASE let me know so I can correct it as soon as possible! I want to make this list as thorough as I can so that people can use this as a resource for LGBT+ fantasy books.
