Hi everyone! My name is Katie and welcome to Melting Pages! This blog came about because like many other book bloggers, I wanted a space to talk about all the amazing books that I read and share my passion with others.

I’ve been a reader ever since I can remember. Growing up in the middle of Pennsylvania there isn’t really a ton to do other than head to the great outdoors, which is where I spent most of my time as a child….with at least one book, maybe two or three! Now I’m 26, almost 27 and you can still find me curled up somewhere with a good book or two, and maybe some tea or coffee as well.

Here on Melting Pages you will find book reviews, book tags, wrap ups, hauls, TBRs (to be read) and much more! My main genre that I read is fantasy, pretty much any sub-genre although urban fantasy is my least favorite. I also like to mix it up with some mystery/thillers, historical fiction, and the odd romance every now and then.

Some of my current favorite books include: Throne of Glass, The Wheel of Time, Kings of the Wyld, The Priory of the Orange Tree, and A Song of Ice and Fire. There are always favorites being found every day, but these give a good idea of what I enjoy!
