A Strange and Stubborn Endurance – Review

Hi everyone! Today is the release day for A Strange and Stubborn Endurance by Foz Meadows, and what better way to celebrate than to share my review? I ended up REALLY enjoying this one, although it does have some scenes that can be very triggering to some, and were actually pretty tough to read.

My Current Horror TBR

Hi everyone! I’ve been really craving some horror reads after reading Tender is the Flesh earlier this year, I’ve already read quite a few this year and I have plenty of others that I want to read eventually! I’ve always enjoyed mystery/thrillers, and I’ve dabbled in horror before (I especially like horror movies, although I don’t watch them often). So this list will help me keep track of all the horror books I want to read! Some of these may not be full on horror but more in line with thrillers, but that’s okay.

If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment below!

August 2022 Releases

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing some August releases that I’m interested in! There are actually quite a lot of standalones this month, and my list consists of more thrillers and horror than any fantasy novel. I’ve definitely been leaning more into the thrillers and horror books lately, and I’m really enjoying it! Of course, that doesn’t mean that I won’t still be reading fantasy, it’s still my #1 genre for the year and will most likely stay that way.

What books are you interested in for August?

Mid-Year Book Freak Out 2022

I can’t believe we’re already past the halfway mark for 2022! It’s been a rough few years and seems like it won’t be getting better anytime soon, but it’s nice to have a hobby that can help take you away from real world issues. So join me in not thinking about the million things happening around us and let’s talk about some books! I’ve answered these questions almost every year that I’ve had my blog, so I’ll link those below if you’re interested in checking out my answers and discussion in the past, but I think it would be fun to also give what my answers were in previous years for each question this time around! It’s also worth noting this is the first year that SJM won’t make it onto this list, since I’ve essentially DNF’d House of Sky and Breath (shocking, I know).

The Valkyrie’s Daughter Review

Hi everyone! I’ve got another review for you today, this time for The Valkryrie’s Daughter by Tiana Warner! This book comes out later this month, so if it sounds interesting to you I definitely recommend giving it a shot! If you think this book sounds familiar, that’s because it was meant to be released earlier this year with a different title and cover, but it was changed.

Hi everyone! Today I’m bringing to you my July TBR! I’m really hoping to get all of these books read or at least started this month! I’m also really hoping that this will be the month I can get back to posting more regularly here on my blog, I’ve been focusing so much on my bookstagram lately that I’ve been letting my blog slide a bit more than I would like!

May 2022 Wrap Up

Guys, I am SOOO IMPRESSED with myself! I participated in Medieval-a-thon in May, and I set myself the super ambitious goal of reading 10 books for the readathon, and I don’t ever think I’ve read 10 books in a month…ever. I ended up actually finishing 13 BOOKS IN MAY, with 1 DNF. This is going to be an incredibly long wrap up this month, and it’s taking me forever to write this post!
