Hi everyone! Today I wanted to show you the new releases that I have on my radar for August! As always, I’m not including sequels to books I haven’t read yet (I already have a long enough TBR, I don’t need to add to it with series I haven’t started yet because I’ve got enough of those already)!

Hi everyone! I was browsing twitter like you do when you’re avoiding all kinds of responsibilities when I came across this tag for Animal Crossing! I’m completely addicted to playing New Horizons, although I feel like my island isn’t nearly as nice as some that I’ve seen online. I used to play Animal Crossing City Folk wayyyyy back when, so I was really excited when New Horizons was announced.

Anyway, this tag was created by Two Book Thieves, so please go check out their blog and show some love!

Review: Shielded

I have had really good luck with the ARCs that I’ve been reading lately, they’ve all been fantastic and this one was no different! Unrelated to the actual review, but I’m using the new WordPress editor which is not the easiest thing to work with, but I’m hoping that after I figure it out it will help improve my blog posts. I feel like everything is hidden behind new menus now!

Hi everyone! June was a weird month for me with my reading. I ended up finishing fewer books than I normally do, but I also partially read quite a few books. On the flip side, each book that I read this month was 5 stars! So quality was high, but quantity was low.

Hi everyone! I’ve gotten the chance to read and review quite a few books that I am extremely excited for that release this year, and today I’m bringing you the first review for those books! Thank you so much to Orbit for providing me with an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. At this point, I’ll read pretty much anything published by Orbit.

Hey everyone! I’m a little bit late with this release blog post because I like to have these done the end of the month before the releases start, but I’ve been really struggling lately to get my blog posts written. I’m still working from home, so I’ve been finding that after sitting at my laptop for 9 hours a day I don’t really want to continue to sit here and write blog posts on top of that. All that aside though, there are some great books coming out in July! As usual, I’ll go in order of release date for the books that I think sound interesting and I won’t be including sequels to series I haven’t read the first book of.

Hi Everyone! I can’t believe that we’re going into July already! Who else is just ready for 2020 to be over? I have a ridiculous amount of books I want to read in July and while I know that I can’t get to them all, I at least want to make a TBR to share the books that I would like to finish this month. Normally, I read anywhere from 6-8 books a month (although I’m nowhere near that for June, but that wrap up will be coming soon). I’m also going to be linking each of these books to their page on The StoryGraph because quite honestly it’s a better version of Goodreads that I think everyone should be using!

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share my review for my ARC of The Crow Rider! Thank’s so much to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Okay, I can’t believe it but this will be the THIRD YEAR that I’ve done this tag. That’s crazy to think that I’ve been blogging for this long! I said it last year and I’ll say it again, but time is going by so much faster the older I get because not only is it June, but we’re halfway through June already! Check out my 2019 version here and my 2018 version here.

Happy pride month everyone! Even though I don’t identify as LGBTQ+, I felt it was still important to use my platform to share some amazing books that contain characters that fall somewhere along the LGBTQ+ spectrum.  Usually the books I see recommended are contemporary, and while I don’t have anything against contemporary, fantasy is my go to genre so I wanted to share some recs in the fantasy genre! It’s surprisingly hard to find information about what characters identify as, because most of the time they are just listed as LGBT with no additional information

I haven’t read all the books on this list, and for the books that I haven’t read I may be missing some of the LGBT+ representation (or may have something listed incorrectly) so if you notice I have something listed incorrectly PLEASE let me know so I can correct it as soon as possible! I want to make this list as thorough as I can so that people can use this as a resource for LGBT+ fantasy books.
