I’ve read and loved every single one of Riley Sager’s books and this one is no different! I ended up finishing this in two days which is ridiculously fast for me. I am so honored to have been able to read and review this book early through Netgalley, so thank you so much to them and the publisher for the opportunity!
I’m still catching up with all my reviews of books that I’ve read recently, and this is the next book to get a full review from my list! This was one of my most anticipated releases of 2019 so I had really high expectations, and while it didn’t quite meet those expectations, it was still really enjoyable!
I’ve been trying to catch up with all of the reviews I need to write, so I actually finished this book back in April and haven’t gotten around to finishing my review! I liked this installment in the Wayward Children series, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as the other books in the series.
Before reading this book, the only Schwab books I’ve read is her Shades of Magic series, which I absolutely adored and definitely need to reread this year. After reading This Savage Song I can say with great certainty that Schwab is now definitely one of my favorite authors!
I feel like Taylor Jenkins Reid has slowly snuck up on me and has inserted herself onto my favorite authors list without me realizing that it was happening. I enjoyed listening to this book and there were so many emotions that were happening from beginning to end and it left me feeling sad and happy all at the same time. First things first: I LOVE retellings! Especially fairy tale/mythology retellings. This particular book is a retelling of The Little Mermaid and is sort of an origin story/retelling for Ursula.
I’ve seen this book in quite a few booktuber’s videos and when I was looking for a short audiobook, I noticed that this one was just over an hour long so it was perfect for what I was looking for! At the time, I didn’t really know what it was about, but wow was this a powerful read.
They Mostly Come Out at Night by Benedict Patrick is a self published fantasy that I included in my Self Published Fantasy on my TBR post (which if you haven’t checked that out yet, I highly recommend it). I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more from this author!
I went into this book with middling expectations. I thought that I would enjoy it but wouldn’t feel compelled to continue with the series when the next book is released, but I was wrong. I loved this book a lot more than I thought I would!
Hey everyone! Reviews are one of my favorite things to do on my blog, so I thought I would share with you all my tips and tricks to writing a review, how I write my reviews, and some things I want to start incorporating into my own reviews from other bloggers! *Just a note that this isn’t the end all be all of book reviews, you can write them however you want!*
