Melting Pages

Hey everyone! I haven’t done any tags in a while, and since I have a few posts that are taking a while for me to finish I decided it’s the perfect time for another tag! This one was created by TheBookJazz and I saw it over at Dreamland Book Blog. Basically what this tag is is just answering questions about your reading habits!

This was such a fantastic book! It’s like Six of Crows meets Atlantis: The Lost Empire meets Indiana Jones and if that doesn’t appeal to you, then I don’t know what would.

25! That’s right everyone, I’m officially 25 today! Car insurance gets cheaper, I start to feel panicky that I’m not being a good enough adult, and so on and so forth. But all that aside, I found this book tag through the wonders of Google, and decided that it would be a great tag to do for my birthday!

Alright, I’m finally getting around to doing my best and worst of the year posts! These are honestly my favorite posts to read and it’s my first year actually being able to do them myself!

I had a lot of fun doing Blogtober back in October, but it really wore me out and put me into a blogging slump of sorts. But because I enjoyed it so much, I knew that I wanted to participate in Blogmas but I wasn’t really keen on doing the entire month of December. Then I decided to do 12 days of Blogmas, sort of like the 12 Days of Christmas! That… Read More

I finally did it. I read and loved a Laini Taylor book! I honestly never thought that I would love any of her works, not because of the plots or characters, but because I’m not the biggest fan of flowery writing and everything I’ve seen everywhere made me a little afraid to pick anything up.

I have no idea who originally created this tag, but every time I see someone do it on their youtube channel or blog I just really want to do it myself, so that’s what I’ll be doing today! This book tag was created around the idea of people giving the disclaimer that everything is their own opinion, and just because they hated (or liked!) a book that you don’t it doesn’t mean… Read More

I mentioned a few times recently on Twitter that I’ve been in a reading slump lately, and my wrap up really proves that point! I also said that the break I took away from blogging was to do more reading, and while I technically did read, I never finished anything. It’s gonna be a pretty short post today, so let’s just hop right in!

I honestly didn’t think I bought this many books in November! From here on out, I am officially on a book buying ban. I will not place any more Book Outlet orders or books from Amazon with the exception of my preorders. We’ll see how this goes, but I’m going to try really hard! But you don’t want to know about that, you want to see the books I got!

As we have been getting closer to the end of the year, that means that everyone is rushing to reach their Goodreads goal, and that is where my discussion today comes in. The Goodreads reading challenge is a fun way to see how many books you actually read in a year and compare that with your friends, but sometimes that can hinder you more than it would help you.
