The day I finished this I also finished two other books, which is pretty much unheard of for me. I’m so glad that I finally got around to reading this book because I’ve seen so many people who love this series and I was a little nervous because its a series of novellas, but I gave it a shot!
This was such a fantastic book! It’s like Six of Crows meets Atlantis: The Lost Empire meets Indiana Jones and if that doesn’t appeal to you, then I don’t know what would.
I finally did it. I read and loved a Laini Taylor book! I honestly never thought that I would love any of her works, not because of the plots or characters, but because I’m not the biggest fan of flowery writing and everything I’ve seen everywhere made me a little afraid to pick anything up.
I honestly didn’t think I bought this many books in November! From here on out, I am officially on a book buying ban. I will not place any more Book Outlet orders or books from Amazon with the exception of my preorders. We’ll see how this goes, but I’m going to try really hard! But you don’t want to know about that, you want to see the books I got!
I’m always talking about how I have this bad habit of buying books in series I haven’t even started yet, but I’ve never really given any examples of exactly how bad this habit is! So today I thought it would be fun to show you the series that I own at least two books of that I haven’t read yet. I’m sure that this list is going to be a doozy, so… Read More
It’s the fifth day of the ABC book challenge for me, which means the letter this week is E! This may be a tough letter for me but hopefully I can find a few books for each category. If you are unaware, this challenge involves mentioning books that start with a certain letter that were memorable, and ones that are on your TBR. So let’s just get right into this week’s letter…. It’s Wednesday so that means I’m doing another TBR Lows & Highs post! This series has been so much fun so far and it’s really prompted me to clear out my TBR on Goodreads so it’s not extremely long. I feel like my physical TBR is almost the size of my Goodreads TBR at this point in my life, but that’s a whole other problem.
Hey everyone! It’s been a few days since I last posted anything, mainly because I was so worn out from Blogtober that I just wanted to take a few days off before starting up again. I ended up doing 30 days of Blogtober (I only missed one day and that was because I was reading Kingdom of Ash). Because I’ve been so overwhelmed with blogging and creating posts lately, I decided that… Read More
Once again, I bought way too many books this month, but I’m excited for them all and the majority of them were from Book Outlet, which means that they were really cheap so I didn’t spend as much money as it looks like I did. And of course, the majority of these are fantasy books because that’s my favorite genre! So let’s just get right into it.
I had a completely different post planned today, but I just finished reading Kingdom of Ash yesterday and I just want to talk about it so badly that I decided to get my review thoughts up today so I can chat with people about what has happened! I will be discussing things that happened in the book, so if you haven’t read KOA yet you may not want to read the rest… Read More
